Computational learning is interesting because it is a way to formalise learning, i.e., mathematically explain what it means to learn, turning an intuitive idea into something that is much more precise. At lulLABy, we simulate and test hypotheses about how complex neural systems could emerge and function, which would be impossible to do directly in infants or non-human species.
